Enough is never enough it seems…

Enough is never enough it seems…

Optimism is a revolutionary act and your best defence against despair.

I look back at the headings of these newsletters every time I start another one – and have a giggle (what else can you do?) at the seemingly never ending big-wave-surfing-sets we have been living through.

Some recent subject lines…..Hibernate or celebrate/ events are back!/ Q2 is that really you?/ Marching into March/ The waiting place/ Working from home not working?

With the blind enthusiasm of the eternal optimist- we hit the start of the financial year running- excited about the momentum that was building for events, networking and social gatherings.

Gratefully, at the start of the month we squeezed in two commiserate or celebrate End of Financial Year parties for our WorkLife Coledale & Berry communities- a great chance to pause, take a breath and look back at the year that was. There are so many new faces- and exciting businesses making WorkLife their home these days- creatives, startups, professionals, academics, journo’s (still no public servants!) – the vitality and dynamism of the crew gives energy and purpose to my days.

Enough to keep on keeping on as we ride out the current resurgent wave- and start planning, once again, for Spring to Spring and for us to all yearn to get out and about once again.

For us, 1 September is shaping up at ground zero for our annual planning. A chance to reset the clock, and start the year afresh, one again 😉

If you are feeling like you need to reset the clock once again- it’s time for a holiday (read the great post below about the burnout-busting benefits of taking a break) or its time for a new Work/Life routine.

So, book that long overdue winter break or book a tour below and come and join us to get your year off to (another) fresh start!
