It’s been Blooming Busy @ WorkLife Picton

WorkLife Picton has been up and running for a few months now- what a joy it has been settling into this beautiful old building and breathing fresh energy into this flagship corner of Picton.

Our Community Managers- Rachel Walton & Lisa McKay and I have been busy hosting, touring, reaching out and tuning into what the small business community and remote workers of the region want and need of this space.

October is Small Business Month – and this one has been jam packed with workshops and networking events thanks to the incredible team at Wollondilly Business, the Picton Chamber of Commerce & Tourism and Wollondilly Women in Business- this region is served by some incredibly dynamic networks and we are so delighted to be able to jump in with both feet and make the most of these chances to connect with so many familiar and new faces.

We have been delighted to get to know our founding members to the space- businesses like Shiels Lawyers, Real Property Specialists, SSI, Firebird Support Services, Gilbert+Younan and Simple Mediation- they are joined by a range of sole traders, freelancers, remote workers, allied health professionals and consultants.

Our Boardroom, Workshop/Event space and half-day private office-suite have been BUSY with early adopters connecting in person with patients, clients and team members- but we would LOVE to see those spaces full every day- so please help us to get the word out that these flexible, professional and awesome spaces can be booked online here by the hour or day for your next event.

There are a few amazing events that we have coming up between now and the end of the year that I would LOVE for you to put in your diaries, starting THIS WEEKEND with our first Makers Market & a collage workshop with the incredible Freya Jobbins times to coincide with BLOOM Wollondilly– come and check out the botanical themed markets in and around the building on Sunday- or send this email onto someone you know, that we might not know yet, that would be interested.

Wishing you the very best of the season,

Kate Dezarnaulds
