Picton Spring Makers Market
We have a jam-packed (or flower-packed!) Sunday of markets and workshops to bring WorkLife Picton into full bloom! Alongside BLOOM Wollondilly, we have curated a dozen local makers and producers to celebrate all things local and floral.
What to expect:
- 10am -3pm – Pop-up shop full of local goodies, free to attend
- 10am -12pm – Bloomtastic collage workshop run by Freya Jobbins, ticketed event
BLOOMTASTIC COLLAGE WORKSHOP with Freya Jobbins
Join well known local multidisciplinary artist Freya Jobbins for a blooming fantastic 2-hour Collage workshop at Worklife in Picton, where your creativity will run amuck amongst the conversation and feelgood vibe of sitting and creating as a group. Don’t miss out on creating landscapes of anthropomorphic creatures, transformed humanoids and wild mashed up flower and plant portraits themed by the local BLOOM Wollondilly Garden and Plant Fair.
Participants will be supplied all the necessary materials, tools and encouragement and sweet treats to keep you going to create your masterpieces. Participants take home their collage masterpieces which will be good enough to be framed. This environmentally friendly sustainable workshop uses unwanted and discarded books and magazines, you can BYO magazines and old books to share and create with.
Some skills needed with scissors, sticking and most important……………………………………..a wild imagination.
